Excel for Business - Summer Semester 2017/2018

The Department of Information Technologies and the Centre for Data Analytics and Intelligence (CENDAI) brings a new course Excel for Business designed exclusively for students of English programmes at FEM CULS.

This course will help you to become more efficient in analysing your data for projects or thesis. All skills and knowledge that you learn will be also very useful at work in variety of companies and are highly appreciated at job interviews.

Topics:

• Review of basics
• Effective data analysis with pivot tables
• Search functions (VLOOKUP, MATCH, INDEX)
• Advanced charts
• Conditional formatting
• Using Form Controls
• Financial calculations
• Basic statistical functions
• Data imports
• Layout and format features

Start: 19.2. - 23.4.2018
Time: Mondays from 15:45 to 17:15
Course length: 9 sessions (13.5 hours)
